Krazy Kreations at Scrapbook Expo

We took a class from Krazy Kreations and learned how to use Copic markers on glitter paper.

This is using the glitter paper.  The effect does not show up well on the picture, but is very sparkly in real life.

This is using regular copic paper.

Scrapbook Expo

We had a great time at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth last week.  It was fun but we were exhausted by the time we got back late Saturday evening.

We took some classes, scrapbooked a little and shopped alot.  There were so many people.  My daughter was the lucky winner, she won an assortment of embossing powders, $20.00 gift certificate and a new scrapbook bag.  Donna and I didn't win anything.  oh well.

I will be posting a few of the cards and scrapbook pages we worked on while we were there in the next few days.

I just love this card made with StampinUp supplies.

Christmas in July

Hello,

I said that I would be doing Christmas in July this month. It's already the 5th and I have only one card made.  Oh well, the best laid plans, right?

I have been getting ready to go to the Scrapbook expo in Atlanta in a few weeks and I haven't done any cards.  I will try to do a few more, but I can't promise much.

Happy Scrapping,

SusieQue

New Technique

Stampin Up Challenge 98  - Make your background paper

You will need Ink pads Wisteria Wonder & Perfect Plum, refills, whisper white cardstock, Pear Pizazz, Wisteria Wonder & Perfect Plum cardstock (Stampin Up).  Stampin Up Too Kind stamp set, Big Shot machine, Deco Labels and Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Ink up one side on the embossing folder, you may need to ink up your pad to be able to ink up the folder well.  Keep in mind that each side will give you a different effect.

Place the Whisper White card stock on folder and close.  Be careful not to let the card stock move or the ink will smear.

Run the folder thru Big shot and remove from the folder.

The two on the out side are done by inking one side  and the center image is done by inking the opposite side.

Here are a few more I completed with another embossing folder.

This one is done by using several different ink colors - creamy caramel, Crumb cake & Early Expresso (Stampin UP)
